I grew up on a farm in Fruita, Colorado, where early mornings and hard work shaped who I am today. That foundation led me into a life of service—first as an EMT, then as a Combat Medic in the Colorado Army National Guard, a role I’m proud to continue today. Along the way, I earned my degree from CSU (go Rams!) and discovered a passion for leadership, trust, and helping people through some of their most important moments.
“People first, mission always” has been my guiding principle. Whether in uniform or in financial services, I believe in putting people at the center of everything I do. Finance excites me because it’s never static—there’s always something new to learn, and every change creates an opportunity to help someone move closer to their goals.
My career has taken me from healthcare administration to relationship banking, but I found my true fit in financial planning. At GPS, I get to combine my love for problem-solving with my passion for serving others. My goal is simple: to be the person clients can rely on through both their biggest wins and their toughest days.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me outdoors—hunting, fishing, skiing, or hiking in the Colorado mountains. My wife, Kristen, and I love traveling and look forward to our next adventure. At home, our dog Patches, a spirited German Shorthaired Pointer, makes sure life is never dull.
