Certified Professional Profile | CFP - Let's Make a Plan
Every day brings new opportunities and challenges, and I genuinely enjoy helping clients navigate them with a financial plan that adapts as life does. A solid investment strategy and risk management approach are the foundation to our work, but the real value is in the ongoing care, attention, and adjustments we make together over time. Seeing a plan go from a written document to something that improves real lives is what keeps me energized.
Long-term, my vision is to grow our firm to $1 billion in total client assets under management. It’s not about the number itself. It’s about what it represents: our clients’ success, the trust we’ve built, and the impact we’re making in our community. I believe in aligning advice with experience. I rarely recommend something I haven’t personally implemented. I believe trust is built by doing the right thing consistently, and that’s what creates space for confident, informed decisions when they matter most.
My path into financial planning started in 2011 during an internship while I was earning my accounting degree at the University of Denver. It didn’t take long to realize my passion wasn’t in traditional accounting but in helping people proactively through financial planning. That realization led me to a summer internship with Mark, and by 2013, I was full-time and pursuing a master’s in finance and business administration. I earned my CFP in 2014 and became a partner in 2017.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of building wealth through investing rather than selling products. My goal is to bridge the gap between textbook finance and real-world application, making it relevant and actionable for the people I work with.
Outside of work, my wife Ashley is the CEO and COO of our family, running our home and supporting me through all of life’s challenges and celebrations. We met in 2014, and she’s been my steady hand ever since. Our daughter Avangeline, or “Ava”, was born suddenly and prematurely, and her NICU stay changed my perspective on life. She’s my constant companion. Our son Theodore, or “Theo”, born in summer 2024, rounds out our family with his calm, thoughtful energy. Parenthood has made me more empathetic and more attuned to the evolving priorities my clients face, too.
When I can, I spend time on the golf course. I've won a few club championships and competed in state amateur events. As a family, we love heading up to Silverthorne for outdoor time and fresh air. Ashley and I also enjoy discovering new restaurants and traveling. Those shared experiences keep us grounded and inspired.
I’m grateful to do work I care deeply about with people I genuinely believe in.
